"There are some who can live without wild things, and some who cannot." - Aldo Leopold
This weekend, ten of my friends went north to Minocqua for a long weekend. In the sub zero temperatures, we spent plenty of time inside cooking, napping, and playing games. When we braved the great outdoors, we walked on the lake, skied at Minocqua Winter Park, and stopped in at the Little Brown Jug. While I am still counting down the days until summer begins and the lake is ready for swimming, weekends like this make Wisconsin winters pretty magical.
