While there is not a bad season to be a Wisconsinite, without a doubt my favorite season is "Farmer's Market". From local markets throughout communities around the state to the best market around (Dane County Farmer's Market on the Capital Square), from late April through early November, there are few things I enjoy more than drinking coffee while taking in the sights and shopping from local farmers.
Looking back on many Saturday trips to the Dane County Farmer's Market this year, a theme surfaced: flowers. From fresh cut bouquets to succulents that didn't demand as much attention during summer travels, week after week the market delivered.
Here's to dreaming about the bounty to be enjoyed next summer.
